Is it wrong that I really just don't care about my birthday at all anymore? People keep asking me (primarily Alissa and my Mom) what I want / want to do for my birthday, and I really can't think of anything in particular that I want or want to do. At least things that would fall in the reasonable birthday gift or activity range. Sure I'd love to go

I think it might just be a side effect of getting older. I was never really one for a party anyway, but these days I don't care all that much, and rarely mention that it's even coming up. That is to say, I don't think it's all that bad.

Glad you got the DMV thing sorted, though. What a pain.

I'm also less enthusiastic about my birthday these days--last year all I wanted was a day off from work, and the chance to eat; this year I'm actually throwing Xander a party on mine. Ah, well. Getting older...
