Man not even the animals are safe from a type of "con crud" thats sad to hear, makes me wonder if who ever brought their dog carrying it knew or not if their animal had it. yikes

Crud!

At least the dogs that visit the con are usually in exceptional health and care, so it shouldn't be a problem, but some are old, which raises the risk off the top of my head.

FC is the one time I can be sure to meet the nicest dogs, too, and remind me that dogs actually can be good pets.

Thanks a lot. My pup was not there but sadly he is sick with so GI troubles now that I am home. 200 bucks in vet visit later and he is doing a bit better

My sister's dog has a habit of swallowing toys and things which aren't digestible.

Aside from the fact that i don't want to risk my dogs getting into a scuffle and tearing another dog to pieces, this is one of the reasons why I'm wary about letting my dogs interact with other dogs.

Unfortunately it's unavoidable. We do take our boys to the dog park because just like children, we can't just lock them up. They need interaction with other dogs for good mental health.
