I may have posted about it before.)When in That Mental State, if I send a series of messages that I don't hear back about, or I'm waiting to meet someone somewhere and they're late to any degree or fashion, my brain starts wailing "THEYYYYYYY'RE DEEEEEEAD! POSSIBLY IN A DITCH

i go straight to bargaining, whether or not they're actually late. Typical me: i'm ten minutes early, and five minutes before they're supposed to get there i start bargaining with the universe to please have them still be alive.

Nope, nope, they're dead, and how will i explain that to other people? Who can i go to to get a hug about it? How long is it going to be before i can be normal in public again without crying my eyes out about it? Can i get out of work for the funeral? Can i get out of all the rest of my obligations and go hide in a corner for a while?

i don't even have to be in That State to do this. But i don't do acceptance.
