The PDA already comes equipped to tell you your current location. However, as far as it having a map and telling you which direction you're facing, it's not anymore helpful.

Yea, we're in the middle of nowhere. Don't need something telling me that. Watch the sun then, rise in the east and set in the west. Not much, but gives a general idea.
