But I do care about what he did. I'm not in the military because I belive in it Seagill. I'm in it for what it can do for me. You and Gumshoe are not. He bucked against the system and I'm all for that.

First off, Sub-Lieutenant Richard Gumshoe isn't my concern. The officer is being dealt with by the Lieutenant Commander as we speak.

As a mere private among the ranks, I will not step into this matter for its none of my concern.

If the Admiral chooses to hang him at the gallows, then so be it. The helmsman knew that his deeds would lead to treason and treason leads to death.

The military is simply an outlet for young men and women born in both the pedestal of the social system and the lowest, to find means to find prestige and honor within the ranks.

Nothing more.

My reason for being in the military may greatly vary against the helmsman's reason...
