You should talk to jules about marching and instrument. She might be opposed because you're awesome with the guard, but if you start now you might just find yourself comfortable. I say go with Mellophone, they're always looking for people and it might be easier to start on (not to say its easier than trumpet, just might be easier for beginners.) If you're really serisou about learning I will definitely be around to help you out!
