So i'm new to live journal, and I joined this group for well... obvious reasons. Anyway, my uncle started teaching me piano but i continued the lessons by myself after he moved, so i'm learning it by myself as a hobby. That's cool that you're teaching yourself successfully! :) Do you buy sheets of music you like and learn it from there, or can you do some by ear?

Actually, I download them. I have been able to learn some songs by ear recently, but i'm still overall working on that skill.

Keep working on the piano stuff! It's sooo worth it! I was self-taught at first as well, but decided to take lessons, and it brought my playing to a whole new level. You may want to consider it...
