Ah, I am so brain-farting on the piece right now, but it's famous. The Liszt rhapsody that was featured in the Bugs Bunny cartoon where the mouse is running from the hammers. Hungarian Rhapsody? Anyway I've seen that played with four hands and there are tons of spots where comedic rivalry can erupt in it. :)

I was in your situation a few years ago, but thankfully transcriptions weren't a problem since it was just a student recital, and we did an arrangement of Lizst's Rhapsody No. 2. But maybe you could check out stuff by PDQ Bach? Or even Erik Satie, though the only duets I know by him are rather short. Worth a try, though :) Good luck!
