So I found 2 job postings this evening that are both shoe ins for my qualifications. Only a couple problems:
a) I don't really believe that I actually am qualified for the job
b) I'm not sure it's actually something that I want to do, though it would be a decent job...

I want to do what I like and make money at it. Is that asking too much?

Of course it is!

Although I've found something that should be a shoe in for my qualifications... we'll see how that goes though.

unfortunatly, yes. usually you end up doing what you like for no money, while you hate the job that pays well. i'm hoping this isn't true for you, though.

ps: how about you let THEM decide if you're qualified? no harm in applying...the worst you'll get is a "no".

Oh Bah, the two above can bugger off. Yes it is /hard/ to find a job that both pays well and you enjoy but its hardly impossible. Thats typically what spurs most entrepreneurs into action is the opportunity to do what they love. Now figuring out what you like to do is a completely different breed of thing...

Its not something you should close the door on, as kitty said, give it a shot.. keep your mind open to both a. leaving if you don't like it and b. actually enjoying what you're doing.

As human beings, especially americans, we spend more time at work then we will anywhere else. Find what you want to do with your life, and then make the money follow.

Cheers ^_^
