So I managed to finish that paper. Final page count: 27 pages, plus cover page and bibliography, so 29 total. And I wrote it in about 2 1/2 days. Definitely not fun to write that fast, but it was a fun subject. Hopefully Cotts will think so too

With Schmitz, I found him much more comprehensible in person. I could never read his comments anyway. And don't freak out--my orals had virtually no content, and I got distinction anyway.
