I've found myself in a moment when it doesn't FEEL like I have a thousand pressing matters to attend to.  I guess it's the character of the day.  After colloquy, Martin asked if I wanted to pick up the school newspaper with him--it's about a 50 minute drive one-way and he wanted company.  I totally jumped on the chance, since we haven't spent any ( Read more... )

It was nice seeing you in my office the other day.

You seem a little blasé in this entry. We should go do something fun at some point. At some point. I guess my hands are about as tied as yours.

When did we get so busy? :P I remember spending nights in Paulin just talking for a few hours. Where did all that go?

I'd love to hang out with Erik this weekend. I hear Jackie Hirschfeld is coming too.

blasé. that's a good word for how i've been feeling recently. just sort of worn out and not very social, even though i'm well-rested and missing my friends.

i think it's a junior year thing to be this busy. everyone i've talked to is working way harder than they expected, so i think it's partly the course load being upper division. hmm.

i'm not sure what's going on sabbath, but i imagine something interesting will go down. and i'd kinda like to go to the i cantori concert. we'll see i guess. weekend plans are always in the air until things happen.

i must say that your summary of the "urban bubble" issue is excellent, i think i learned more there than from anywhere
