Fools.. why do people hate poetry, and hate instrumental music, yet love songs etc? Stupid minds, that need to be guided, dragged through simplistic compositional devices to hold our attention.. ahh.. stupid popular music.. its just so, basic..

This is kind of out there, and I just stumbled on your journal by the Random thing, but I noticed how you posted the Lyrics to a really awsome Praise song in an earlier post. The comment you had about the lyrics was dead-on; I was part of a Christian group on campus at my university and the first time I heard that song it just took the breath right out of my lungs. If I might ask, are you a Christian, or do you just appriciate the lyrics? And if I might, I'd like to add you to my friends list.

:) I am a christian, i think its a great song.. sure you can add me :) i'm about to add a bunch of people i havent had time to add yet, things have been hectic but i've just entered my school holiday period :)

Hi - I'm, what, the third person to find you at random? I had to comment on this because it is so true. I grew up on classical music and play instruments both at school and at home... I even started writing this year and layed out a couple of poems. So, I know what you're talking about. Generally, people don't appreciate that kind of art. It's sad. And, I'd also like to add you to my friends list if you wouldn't mind :)
