I Hate Motion Sickness

Nov 28, 2005 12:50

Thanksgiving was good. Too bad we don't have any leftovers, though.

Twelve minutes ago, I found the most awesome Java port of Quake 2. All you need is a browser. Sure, it has to download >38 MB of stuff to your hard drive, but after that, you're good to play. Now I'm trying to get over that motion sickness thing after about ten minutes of play

entries, geeky

Mmmm a good case of video-game-woozy. Vwoozy, as I call it. The best way to get rid of it is to play more, hehe :)

Ugh...I tried that. I ended up laying in the floor for a few minutes.

I need to build that FPS tolerance back up. This Quake 2 thing could save me from hours of boredom, especially once they fix the multiplayer bug.

Did I mention that it's a fully functional clone, including multiplayer mode?!?

Wow, sweet. That's really nice...wish they'd do that with some other games. Did you ever play HL2?

Nope. That was after my college days. It looked awesome, though.

Ah, a game that I've never played, but always heard was good. Alas, my computer would not run it. :(

Your computer is lucky to run Windows. Too bad that computer deal didn't pull through for you this weekend.

Indeed, you speak truly. Looks like I'm gonna have to suck it up and fork out the $$$ for a new one.... Maybe I'll get a Dell or a Gateway, probably cheaper than buying one from Best Buy or Circuit City. I really hate to spend the cash, but every day it's looking like I have less and less of a choice.
