Huh, interesting. For a week I haven't been getting to bed until about 5AM, but these last few days I've fallen asleep between midnight and two. I've read threads about sleep paralysis on /x/ and thought, "Pfft, this'll never happen to me." But this morning makes it the second or third time it has.
On one hand, I find it a really fascinating phenomenon. I'm a terror junkie so anything that legit has my heart pounding is pretty cool in my book. On the other, it's awful when you're completely bound and can't move when it feels like you or the things around you are being manipulated by shadowy figures.
Every time I see that painting I like it more and more. Fuseli's work is quite haunting, and I just realized his name shows up in Silent Hill 4.
i'm not really sure what triggered mine. i'd never had it before in my life, then it happened suddenly several years ago. i was freaked out and didn't know wtf was wrong with me.
then it happened again.
and then it hasn't happened since.
i don't know what triggers it. didn't seem to be stress, as i was far MORE stressed the years following my last episode than i was WHEN i had the episode, if you know what i mean?
