nope, I'm technically "insulin resistant" which means the sugar never enters my blood stream - I usually test at a 40-56 for blood sugar... I have no metabolism (well, I used to not at least). I take an oral glucose stabilizer once a day...
Glucophage (metformin)... usually given to Type II diabetics, also used for hormone therapy, since insulin is a hormone and usually a resistance to it means a resistance to other hormones (hense the obesity, lack of menstrual cycle and precancerous tumors on my ovaries and uterus).
