I kind of want to cry now. I had all kinds of love for Marion and Indy's relationship in Crystal Skull, and the idea that they even CONSIDERED making her twelve when they "had an affair" makes everything horrible and wrong. Spielberg's comments about her being "promiscuous" kind of creep me out too, although it's less awful if he was just trying to mitigate Indy's culpability (i.e. if a fifteen year old came on to him, vs. him making the moves on a fifteen year old).
