Sorry, the article says that only girls 12 to 18 are getting paid to be baby-free. So I believe you'd only get $2555 (plus interest).
My eye was caught by this line: "If a girl drops out or gets pregnant, her money is divided among the other girls still in the program."
...I know this program is all about sisterhood and support and bettering everyone's lives by improving one person's life, but I can't help but think it's actually to the girls' advantage if they get their fellow participants pregnant and disqualified. I smell a reality TV show.
