my diploma came on saturday. i am officially an engineer.

i got business cards today. i have like a million and i don't know what i am supposed to do with all of them.

brian's mom called on friday night. his grandpa died on thursday. he had alzheimer's. he fell in the shower and didn't tell anyone. couldn't be woken up the next morning. there is no funeral. everyone seems pretty relieved. i guess he was pretty bad by the end.

why do i get the feeling that everyone here hates me?

so i just moved to my new desk, except it's not as wonderful as i had thought. there is still no a/c, not even a vent in the room. and it's freakin hot in here. there is no window either. this sucks. i hate my desk. it's completely bare. i need some pictures or something to hang on my bulliten board cubicle walls ( Read more... )

work is going alright. i don't really have much to do because we are waiting on pratt for every project that i have been assigned to (3 total), so i'm just doing a lot of training now. kinda boring and makes the time drag, but whatcha gonna do, it's work. can't be fun all the time ( Read more... )
