The Future is Now

Since I posted my resume online on Sunday I've gotten two offers. The first one is a three month to hire contract writing PHP out in Las Vegas (Hi Natalie.) Writing PHP is not m favorite thing to do, but it would be a serious kick in the pants to jumpstart my professional poker playing career. Maybe I'd even run into Phil Ivey at the Bellagio. The other offer is more up my alley, Production Artist/Designer doing four color typography work in NYC. NYC is so expensive tho, I don't think I could take the job without somewhere to stay. I'll talk to Melissa from Jersey if she ever bothers to log into AIM or answer an email.
What am I watching the rest of this week? Monday is the biggest TV night for me, it takes me two days to get through those shows, but the rest of the week is pretty dead until things come back from hiatus. I'm picking up two old movies, Even Cowgirls Get The Blues; I love Tom Robbins thanks to Wendy sending me Stilllife with Woodpecker (apparently, I reminded her of the Woodpecker,) but I've never seen it. And I've been jonesing to see Alien Nation again, it's been too long. Someone on Aradi is putting up V - The Miniseries, which I've also been jonesing to see (blame Anna) lately. I watched part one last night, and I'm getting part two now. NBC has a fabolous new poker show they're showing every weeknight at 2:05am called Poker After Dark, I'm loving it... it's the best thing since High Stakes on the Game Show Network but High Stakes is a weekly broadcast.
I think that's all I've got going on since my last real blog, the weather's been shitty and cold and it's affected my mood like it always does, but tomorrow is supposed to be all sunshine and things should go back to normal.
PS: Chr$ you're missing the new Busdriver, all the new tracks are on his myspace... but have fun in NOLA anyway. ;)
