oh wow....
for over half an hour, i've been trying to figure out what words i need to express just how touched a certain someone in connecticut has made me feel.
words are failing by leaps and bounds.
sometimes, i marvel at how much my friends care about me.
my friend paulie and i have been looking forward to the residents show this thursday months before we even knew for sure it would happen.
of course, we planned to hang out together for it and have been gushing for *weeks* in drooly fandom.
well... tonight i told him that after a solid look at my current finances, i didn't think i'd be able to make it after all, despite having had my ticket for a few weeks now.
he wasted no time in telling me this was not an issue i needed to worry about.

he is covering my bus fare and miscellanea expenses as well as letting me share his room.
and no, he's not "expecting anything". he just knows how much seeing the show means to me and wanted to make sure it happenned.
