ah thanksgiving. when we sat down to dinner my dad said "we should thank the great spirit that surrounds us because we are so lucky." why dad why must you be so weird? nobody said anything. we just looked at our food and ate it. thats often the best way to respond to my dad ( Read more... )

I totally read that final sentence of the first paragraph and had literally started a note saying "you can't spell it either" when I noticed that your next sentence stated exactly that.

Also, I miss your family SO MUCH. Oh, your father.

maria... chivalry is huge in my book too.
there is nothing wrong with wanting to be treated like a princess... its just that the tiara is a bit much. ;)

I just keep on coming back to this entry to re-read the part about your dad and laughing about how much I enjoy his native-americanness. Also, remember that hat he has that's like made of straw and looks like one of those hats people use when enslaved in the rice paddies in China?
