Well, made me instantly think of "mare" i.e. "female horse." Maybe Marin or something, instead?

Ainsley is such a last name to me, just makes me think of actor Anthony Ainsley. But then, last names seem to be common now to name girls, for some reason. Makenzie and Madison and Taylor all those other horrible names. XD

I'll never have kids, but if I ever did have a girl, I'd name her Astrid. Doesn't fit with your a_ theme, though.

Fact is, pretty much all names are going to have some association with something. Which is probably why names like Elizabeth and Victoria, etc remain consisently popular--because their association, at least, is generally with royalty.
