[He keeps his word and heads straight out. After almost an entire year living here he knows the quickest way to all the far little corners, and this is nothing. He arrives by rooftop, but he makes his appearance on the street as if that were the way he traveled the entire time. He smiles and waves over at her as he approaches.]

Rico! I am glad to see you safe. Shall we?

[Some faint part can tell her that something is nearby, but she knows better than to rely on that here. Quietly she cursed the chip. But then there was Giovanni, and seeing his smile led her to give one of her own. Rico nodded, going to his side. She would be quite happy to get away from here.]

[He bowed politely and indicated with a wide arc of hand to proceed 'that way'. He walked beside her though when it came down to it.]

Pardon me for asking, but where would you like to go? I am not sure I remember where you preferred to call 'home' here.

[The girl was content enough to start walking, but even more so to have him next to her. She was, after all, much more used to following. For a few seconds Rico didn't answer, but after biting her lip she speaks.]

Just... somewhere safe. Almost everyone who looked after me is gone.

[He just nods in understanding. He's silent for a moment before suggesting anything.]

Home? I was only there an hour. Nothing really happened. Made coming back kinda disorienting though.

Oh. [How disappointing. That didn't seem fair to him, for her to just be allowed so little time back home.] That is frustrating. The difference in time is so random, and absurd. [He shakes his head.]

[This is Discedo. Nothing is fair. Rico sighs, shoving her hands in the pockets of her coat.] It's almost better this way.

Yes. And things change so quickly in my world. I'm not sure how different I'd be if stayed there too long.
