[Yep, someone's been neglecting to post ((mun apologizes)). You know the drill- the shock isn't audible, but the resulting clatter from her dropping/semi-throwing the com is. She doesn't even bother to pick it up. That would mean getting out of bed, and the bed is at least somewhat warm.]

It can with metal. I dunno what it might do to the violin, though. I'd feel bad if something happened to it.
