I got a panettone for Christmas, and it's actually pretty good. Anybody in Gohl is welcome to come by and have a slice. Otherwise I'd never be able to finish it all before it goes bad.

A panettone?

It's a sweet loaf we eat in Italy around Christmas that has candied fruit in it.

That sounds nice.

Who gave it to you?

It is. I used to always eat it with any of my friends in the dormitory who weren't out with their guardians.

The scientists did, it was on my list.

Of course, it'd be pretty bad of me not to. It's a nice reminder of home.

Panettone? It's a sweet loaf with candied fruit in it. It's eaten around Christmas in my home country.

Like... cake? Or more like bread?

Depends on the baker. This one's more like bread, which is more traditional.

A reminder of home is something I will not pass up.

[He misses home quite a lot... but then again he's sure many people feel the same.]

I hope you're well, even being here?

[She has mixed feelings about home, but that doesn't mean she doesn't miss it.]

I'm fine, thank you for asking. Glad the mistletoe is gone.
