I got this email today from that job I have been waiting on...I interviewed with them weeks ago.

We haven't forgotten about you. We have just been extremely busy.

I think it's a good sign...if they weren't interested in you at all, they wouldn't have sent anything. Give them the benefit of the doubt (for now!) and assume that they truthfully did get busy and haven't had the chance to finish the hiring process.

On the up side, they might have gotten really busy and are very interested in you for the position and don't want you to run off somewhere else in the meantime. Who knows? :) I hope it all works out for the best for you, though.
