OMG Golden Days ♥ I only started reading it earlier this week and just finished reading/looking at volume 5 (with my hiragana "skills" 8'DD), this must be fate! It's so hard to resist reading through your summary of volume 8, I will definitely do after having a look at the other volumes first.
By the way, I'm totally just like you when it comes to explaining stuff, when I tried to make other people watch Glee the only thing I was able to say is "It's about a Glee club" ahaha.
