But srsly it's three games, everybody needs to relax. I would've been happy with either outcome for the Red Sox/Rangers but I just wish Salty had started his season a little more auspiciously :/ Those ABs were embarrassing

Oh yeah, totally agreed. You can't get much out of three games.

Poor Salty :( At least Ian had a good series (to say the least). He did it for both of them. ;)

I really have enjoyed hearing all the THE 1998 YANKEES STARTED OFF 0-3 TOO in regards to the Red Sox, though

They only ended up losing 9 games through the first 40, though, so unless the RS end up winning 31 of their next 37 games, I think we're good.

I quite enjoy the Cubs' inability to beat the Pirates. It really just fills me with so much joy.

The Boston Herald's Red Sox season preview was titled "THE BEST TEAM EVER". They totally jinxed it.

I am enjoying the panic though. People who thought this team was going to go 162-0 now think they're going to go 0-162. Have I mentioned that I hate "Red Sox Nation"? x(

I totally admit to reading SOSH just for the lulz, as long as I'm in my "okay you have to ready yourself to deal with the dregs of humanity" mode (and yeah, I know that's not representative of all Sox fans at all. I did enjoy them calling Crawford "Crawful"). Also, surely you saw that "2011 Red Sox will be better than the 1927 Yankees" article from January? It was like the greatest thing ever.

Obviously, the Red Sox will be just fine. But I'm enjoying it while I can~
