Ari had tried to stay away, really. The feeling of getting stabbed in the gut (and really, he was never going to get over that; your mind makes it real indeed) was a pretty good deterrant. But after a few days, he had something like an itch under his skin. He had folded Paris over on itself, had built something from nothing with his mind.

"You must be our Architect. Cobb is away at the moment fetching another member for our team. He's asked that I train you a bit more." She holds out her hand.
"I'm Arthur. I'll be running point for this job."

"I guess I am, aren't I?" He laughed nervously, taking Arthur's hand. The other man (he didn't realize that Arthur was, in fact, a woman) intimidated him slightly, with his cool collectedness. He was obviously so much more on top of things than Ari was.
"Ari. But you already knew that, right?" He shook the hand and then, dropping it, looked around. "What are you going to train me for?" He had no idea. Shooting?

Arthur tried not to feel guilty about pulling this charming student down into the dream share world that would never let him go.
"Nothing too strenuous. I'm just going to take you down and show you a few maneuvers you can use against projections. It will be my dream and your subconscious for the first time, and then we'll switch and you can demonstrate the techniques yourself."
