Happy New Year

I know I never post.....but I thought I would say Happy New Year to all.

This year is starting somewhat melancholy for me, nothing serious, and I have plenty to be happy and thankful for.  But, I have found myself in alot of retrospective and introspective thinking and well for lack of a better word, meditating.

Hi! beekerzwhirled (above, hee hee) suggested I maybe friend you because you've been interested in midwifery and are a LC. My career goals are pretty much the same, so I'd love to keep in contact with eachother if you're interested :) I've never had kids, but I've been researching it for almost six years now and would love to become a homebirth midwife, ultimately.

Anyway, I just thought I'd say hi and let you know why I friended you :)

I have friended you back:). My second birth with was with the assistance of a midwife...but at a hospital. I am all for homebirth, but not for me....I need sterility. Fortuntly, I don't get pushed around by hospital policy and staff.
You should go for it. I love being an LC
