EDIT: AWW DARN!!!!  I am a dork, I read the date wrong.  TMBG is actually performing Jan 31, 2009 in NY, NY...not Dec. 31, 2008.  Whoops.  Well, either way, we should plan a trip to NYC...and I will have to see my fave band another day.

EDIT x2: Ok, ok, I understand, bad idea to plan a trip to NYC during the holidays.  Sorry, I have been a little ( Read more... )

Just remember to book your plane tickets soon. Otherwise you are taking a gamble on if you'll get a cheaper ticket down the road - which is normally not the case.

As much as I would love to go to NY again soon...New Year's Eve is NOT the time to go. Everything is super booked up and I'm sure they charge lots more money. Btw, people camp out for good spots to watch the ball drop. :)

yeah I know people camp out for a long time, I wouldn't want to do that...but I just had an ideal vision, I guess, of seeing it from far away while still being in NYC. Ah well. It would still be cool to go to NY someday.

I would love to visit New York someday. Unlikely if I was still working my current job. Too much of a hassle to bother. Whichever the case, if I plan an eastern seaboard trip I will let you know. :)

I would like to visit New York (and east coast in general) again, but like Jodi said it would be pretty inconvenient (and expensive!) to go during the holidays.

My future one month from now will be very uncertain, so while I would love to travel, I don't currently know how feasible it is. If New York doesn't work out, we should go to the Bahamas. It'll probably be like 1/2 the price of visiting New York.
