Were you originally supposed to fly out yesterday or today? Had you booked your ticket correctly, you could be sitting stranded in Dorval right now.

I was supposed to fly out on Sunday...but people trying to get to the maritimes even yesterday were stranded.

I gotta say, I'm pretty glad now that I'm not doing any traveling this year. Even my parents said that maybe it was for the best that I didn't get a flight this year, given all the horrible travel stories. Did you hear about the flight from Ottawa to Halifax that hit horrible turbulence that threw everyone around and made people sick all over the plane, and then after two unsuccessful attempts at landing, ended up coming back to Ottawa -- most of those people are still waiting and hoping to get a flight that'll get them home in time for Christmas. What a nightmare!
