I officially give up trying to make intelligent, relevant or useful comments. All I can say has already become trite and as such I will simply peruse the better written more insightful posts all over my friends list. I am feeling very much as though I'm wading in the shallow end of the fandom intellectual pool today

Well in another bout of *what the fuck?* my original reply to this message seems to have disappeared. As this has nothing to do with YM, I'm left to assume that someone's pulling a Dobby on me. I am now quite pissed, not the least of which at myself for this post which smells of fishing for compliments.

I never thought you were fishing dear. There seems to be a wonderful dearth of amazingly intelligent people in this fandom. So the bar is set fairly high up there isn't it? It's daunting at times.

If it makes you feel any better, I spent two hours last night writing my post and saying to anyone who'd listen, "Why am I doing this? I don't have anything interesting to say about the book."

I have always found your comments to be intelligent, relevant, and useful, so I hope that you'll at some point throw down even a few offhand comments about your reaction to the book. Loving it a lot is actually an unusual position to be in, judging from my friends page, so I'd be interested to hear why you have come to the loving it conclusion. :D
