ELIMINATE
#02 - The branch(?) texture doesn't flatter the icon and is distracting from the subject. Also, the text to the side is out of place and you can't read it.

FAVORITE
#01 - The smokey background was a great choice to go with this image and especially since it is black and white. The contrast and all is perfectly done.

#05 - the icon is rather dull and could use some more contrast.

FAVORITE
#06 - the colouring is really pretty.

#02 - It's a lovely icon, but it's missing connection between all of the elements.

FAVORITE
#01 - The texture and coloring is beautiful. It all fits together and catches your eyes.

05 -- the icon looks rather oversharpened and the coloring is too washed out and yellowish

FAVORITE
01 -- very nice crop and awesome texture use

really hard to choose now ..

#06 - the area within the face has too much contrast, which might've made the facial features slightly unrecognizable. also, the coloring is too pink.

#01 - great use of black & white, center crop & background.
