Scrabble Career

As sort of an early New Year's resolution, I've decided to move beyond lurking on other Scrabble blogs to actually start my own. Hopefully, this will in some way help me improve my game by helping me structure my word study, game reviews, questions, etc. It's also a way to be a bit more social. Welcome to the world of non-stalkers. Coming out the shadows is a good thing. Writing about the game helps I think.

Heh! Yeah, I played in my first mini-bonspiel earlier this month. It's a really fun game that I wasn't sure I would ever get to try living in the U.S., but it turns out that I live 10 minutes from a really nice curling club.

Not sure if he still does that... Another fun thing that happened back then, in retrospect, was filling out a research survey for Stefan Fatsis. It was pre-Word Freak, so he was playing there and doing research during that time.
