brainstorming various ideas for the zine fic, finally, but no winner yet. everything I come up with is too long for the time I have left

It's not so much the idea, it's sometimes the right idea...

I've added the last few lines of dialogue to the semi-finished 4th chapter and worked a bit on the newly started 5th (and hopefully last) one. Wrote about two (A5) pages, mostly canon dialogue partly rewritten and inserted into a very different scene. I hope it will work out.

The finishing lines of Chapter 4:
She (T'Pol) closed her eyes in defeat. "I cannot hinder you in doing what you feel you have to do, Captain. But I shall have no part in this."

Yay, 450 words of my Wen Ning story, and I have come up with a name for the spider demon - Snowbug. (it's white, probably more a bone colour but I don't think Wen Ning who is a nice person would name anything Bonebug. And yes, I may put that in as a line :)
