This is the place to tell us about your daily success (or the lack of it).
May the magic be with us all!
There'll be a wrap-up tomorrow where we can discuss our accomplishments during this session. Until then, let's make the best of our last day together... for now.

He really should have acquired a new Asfaloth, he thought. All their horses had been left behind when they took ship. But, in the meantime, he had brought all his tack with him; and the soft sound of bells, as he rode the perfectly adequate mount from Elrond’s stables, was as gently amusing as it always was.
He remembered a small Arwen worrying that the tinkling sound would alert enemies if he rode to arms, not realising he only put this bridle onto his current Asfaloth when he rode purely for pleasure. How sad, he thought, that Celebrían will never see her daughter again. But it was now only a slightly melancholy thought, no longer a painful one.
I have written a little over 4,000 words this month and I am happy with that. Thanks again to wiseheart; without the impetus to write I may not even have got this story started!

I achieved my target of 10,000 new words which completed the first book of the trilogy and allowed me to make a start on the third book. (Book 2 is already written. Yes, I am writing a trilogy in the order 2, 1, 3, 4.)
Going forward into December, the plan is to reread Book 2 making any tweaks needed now that Book 1 actually exists and carry on with the first draft of Book 3.

Thank you! I'm really grateful for a community like this where I can set a much more modest goal than the "normal" 50k words.
