CHALLENGE 17 FIVES
My Top 5 Favorite (Mostly) Human Disney Characters

I absolutely adore Kuzco.  I love his general clulessness about the world, which always makes me laugh.  I also love how narcissistic and self-centered he is, yet he's a sweetheart underneath it all.  Kuzco never fails to entertain me.  :)

Oh, Quasimodo.  I love him so much.  Every time I watch The Hunchback of Notre Dame, I want to reach into the screen and give him a hug.  He is so sweet and sympathetic, despite everything Frollo has put him through.  I just adore Quasi.

I love, love, love strong female characters (see: the rest of this list).  Pocahontas is such an amazing character.  She's a strong and determined dreamer that wants to help her people.  I love her relationship with nature, and, of course, with John Smith.  Even though her parting with John Smith breaks my heart, I love that she made the choice to stay with her family and friends and protect her people instead of running off to England with him.  I think that makes her amazing.

Tiana is such an amazing woman.  I love that we finally got to have a princess who we saw actively working for something in her life.  Her strength, determination, and attitude really make The Princess and the Frog.  I like that Tiana is willing to do anything to realize her dream of owning a restaurant, and a romance is just something that came along for her.

Meg has been my favorite character since about age three.  I dressed up like her for Halloween, and recently dressed up as her for my Disney-themed birthday party.  :)  Meg is strong-willed, sexy, and won't take crap from anyone.  I love her attitude and the underlying brokenness to her.  And, "I Won't Say (I'm in Love)" will ALWAYS be my favorite Disney song.  Meg is just amazing.
