challenge 7 - aeryn sun
My favorite character (dare I say, of all time) is Officer Aeryn Sun, Special Peackeeper Commando, Icarian Company, Pleisar Regiment.
She is an alien Sebacean from the sci-fi show Farscape. She is played by the raven-haired goddess Claudia Black.
There are no words to describe my love for this character. Aeryn is everything I look up to in a female role model, just as Farscape has everything I'll ever look for in a show. Watching her for four seasons growing and developing into this strong compassionate character may be the most satisfying thing I've seen on television. I won't lie, she is also half the reason I got into the show. (The other half being the John/Aeryn 'ship. =p) I was gladly never disappointed by her. ;)

favorite moments/episodes
(I honestly have more but being pressed for time, I had to settle for a handful of eps for now, hope you guys enjoy it nonetheless!.)
"PREMIERE" -- the stowaway turned unwilling shipmate!
I think from the very beginning, we knew they were going to end up together somehow...
"A HUMAN REACTION" -- this episode in its entirety is quite self-explanatory.
"THE WAY WE WEREN'T" -- see, beneath that stoic exterior, she actually has a soul!
"DIE ME DICHOTOMY" -- one of the many heartbreaking scenes in the whole series; not just for Aeryn but John as well.
oh, the death poll on this show! I cannot begin to describe it!
"SEASON OF DEATH" -- like a phoenix she rises.
"INFINITE POSSIBILITIES PT.2: ICARUS ABIDES" -- shooting makes her feel better!
"THE CHOICE" -- if you've seen the show, you know what led to this. I excluded that scene so as to possibly peak people's interest into watching the show?=p
hands down, this is Claudia Black's best performance. she nailed it all down!
and finally, "DOG WITH TWO BONES" -- Aeryn in a wedding gown acting like a "hooman" may just be the best thing ever! am I right or am I right?
I think a picspam of Aeryn wouldn't be complete without some John/Aeryn!:p
