i really like this and i want to use it but it didn't come out right. i dont know why. it's on generator and all i changed was the username and the sidebar stuff. help please?

As stated in the entry, a website is required. You need to put one in your userinfo for the layout to work properly.

Why is it that my navigation strip has capital letters? How do I get it back to the way it was?

No? It is at the top of a person's livejournal. It is like a long black strip that has navigation on it. I suppose that it is one of livejournal's new features. Perhaps you turned yours off on your settings page?
