Credit pictoresque in the icon comments when uploading an icon made by me, as shown below.
Crediting: Overrides
If you use my overrides, you must credit me in your userinfo, even if you make changes to them. Do not credit anywhere else. Your userinfo is the only place that I will look. If you are not crediting in your userinfo, you will receive angry comments from me! If you continue to use my overrides and not credit, I will report you.

Using: Overrides
Anyone can use the layouts posted in pictoresque. If you take and use the overrides on your journal, it would be nice if you would comment and it is required that you credit. Please credit in your userinfo. Do not redistribute these codes. These layouts and graphics were made for livejournal only. Do not use them anywhere else.
Editing: Overrides & Layouts
Do not edit layout graphics (such as headers) that I made for pictoresque. Overrides (the codes, not the images), however, can be edited to fit your needs. Credit is, of course, still required no matter what.
* You can change the background on this layout.

Unless I specifically say that the icons can be edited, you cannot edit them in any way.
Hotlinking
When uploading icons, I usually use my photobucket account for hosting purposes. Do not hotlink icons! You will destroy my bandwidth and your icon (and all of the other icons that I post) will disappear. It's completely easy to save icons to your computer and then upload them onto livejournal that way.

What does "a website is required" mean?
Go to manage > info and find the heading that says Web Page. Under it, it asks for a name and a URL. You have to have a URL linking to a website, any website you want, (like http://www.livejournal.com, for example) in the URL section for some layouts to work properly.
My layout isn't working! What went wrong?
If your layout still isn't working after you have made sure that there is a website listed in your userinfo, feel free to comment on the original layout post for help. I will get to you as soon as possible.
How can I make my default icon visible again?
Find the following in your overrides and remove it:
.shadowed img{
display:none;
}
How do I add a header to this layout?
Find this section in your overrides:
body {
background-image: url();
background-position: top center;
background-attachment:scroll;
background-repeat: no-repeat;
background-color:#E9E0DB;
margin-top: 24px;
overflow-x: hidden;
overflow:-moz-scrollbars-vertical;
}
Put the URL to your header image in between the parentheses and change the margin-top so that your journal content does not overlap your header.
Can I use one of your layouts on greatest journal, etc.?
If you had read the rules like you were supposed to, you would already know that the answer to that question is no. These overrides were made for livejournal use only. Do not use them anywhere else.
