1. The sidebar will go over the background, but the entries might not.

2. For your icon to be visible, remove the following from the GLOBAL_HEAD:

.shadowed img{
display:none;
}

I used this layout! But it didn't work properly, I must have messed something up when editing the overrides ...

The sidebar refuses to show up and I am baffled as to why. If you could help me I'd really appreciate it! It's a great-looking layout.

Now I'm noticing the website requirement. The fact that I don't know what this means leads me to believe that this may be the issue.
