As someone who is about to go see her grandmother in her assisted living facility, and who just had a kid, that entry sure spoke to me... What a hard situation. That thing with your uncle sounds really hard. We had to move my grandmother into assisted living a while ago, and she really hated it at first, but she's much happier now and it was such a good decision. I think it's really great when strangers can help with things like dementia and paranoia- it's impossible for them to take it personally, and it's impossible for anyone else not to! It's hard. Really hard. You're not a bad granddaughter
