State of me.

Not feeling so great lately. Sciatica has developed, and this week back at work it's gotten much worse. Each step is excruciating. I move so slowly that I feel like I'm 87 years old.

I don't know how I'm going to get through this month with all that I have to do, and that's scaring me a bit.

health, pregnancy, back pain, work

You'll get through. *hug* I'm not going to lie; the last month of pregnancy SUCKS. But it's soooo worth it.

I've been told a few times now that the only way the pain will go away is to deliver-- no kidding, but that's another four or five weeks away. I'm just wondering how I'll get through tomorrow, much less a whole month, and I'm in so much pain whenever I move, and I NEED to move. *cries*

I hate whining. Sorry to vent at you. It's been a long week.

You can take some Tylenol - NOT ibuprofen/Advil - if you need it. Warm baths or showers may help, too. Ugh. I hated feeling like an old woman.

And feel free to vent! I think it's interesting to write those things in my journal because, believe it or not, you will look back fondly on pregnancy.

I doubt Tylenol would do much, but I might consider it (I haven't taken anything yet since day 1). The morning shower feels amazing, though. I'm also taking prenatal yoga and seeing a chiropractor (who was out this week, drat), and sitting on an exercise ball. They tell me the pain will go away on its own eventually. I just worry that it will interfere with the birthing process.

And despite these last few weeks, I really have had a wonderful pregnancy.

Oh, poor bunny. I remember that. Just drop everything that you can drop and trust that since you are USUALLY such a go-go potatohead of responsibility and you're now lumbering around with a visible excuse, everyone will forgive you. It's true, too. Just take it one day at a time and know that the only thing you REALLY have to do is take care of yourself.

ROTFL

I think I need a nametag now. Or perhaps letterhead.

You're right, of course, but there's just so. much. to. do. that I'm stressing a bit...and that isn't helping matters much. So you had this back pain too? What did you do to manage it?

Mine just came and went, and I just got cranky...If it helps, you WILL have time for baby stuff after she/he is born. They sleep a lot!
