39 week appointment=bedrest for me :(
I thought I'd be more in the clear after my swollen feet went down, but the blood pressure is still a factor. Today's bp was 135/92 (I think), so again I got the induction talk (from a different doc in the practice this time-- I feel like she's the most "medical" of the three). I truly don't want to be induced, but I'm not unreasonable if it's truly medically necessary.
Anyway, after laying on my side after the check (no real changes, still 2-3cm dilated and 80% effaced, yadda yadda), my blood pressure was checked again, this time 112/70, which is what it's been for the duration of the pregnancy.
So because laying down does nice things for my circulatory system, I get to stay like this all weekend and go back on Monday for another bp check. Goody. If I go into labor this weekend, everyone's happy (though none of my docs are on call and I'd be seeing a stranger, so that's the downside).
So I'm still hanging on here, but the Induction Black Cloud has decided to hover over me, and I'm not happy about it. (I even had to cancel a pedicure appointment! Mean! lol) I'd appreciate any good vibes you kind folks can send.
Also... I've now been in bed now for two hours. Feel free to spam me with interesting websites.
