Why do we, as human beings, keep looking for something that does not exist?

Exactly. We as a human species need hope to survive. It's apparently one of our basic necessities.

I think for the most part, we are not meant to find it, because in the end we are always going to have something else to search for.

LOL....lots of somethings. But the main thing I'm looking for is a true connection with someone...whether as friends or lovers.
