I am so sorry for your loss. It's difficult to lose family members near the holidays... Feel free to call whenever if you need to talk to someone.

Very nicely put. I have obviously seen you since you wrote this (maybe I should check into LJ more often.)

I am sad for us all, but yes, especially for Aunt Carol. I can't even imagine the pain of losing your spouse, and not having had enough years with them, to have your plans for the future suddenly change. It makes me cry every time I think about it.

When Chris and I were leaving, Aunt Carol told me that we will have to be sure to toast Uncle Denny at the cabins in October. What a fine idea!
