Bad news, good news

Well, Doc T. called this morning with Lyra's blood test results - Diabetes. Ugh. I'm to take Lyra in tomorrow for a couple of days to figure out the optimal dosage for the feline insulin equivalent, then I get to give him shots twice a day possibly for the rest of his life. He's gonna hate me. Doc says he'll probably LOVE the food he's going to

Sorry about Lyra--When I worked in the kennel, the diabetic cats always took the injections well. *hug*

No worries then. I keep this journal for rat friends mostly, and I guess you could filter me out of your friends page list if I get annoying :) I figure if something is too persona to sharel, it doesn't need to be up on the internet in the first place ;)
