Whoa, hey, so it's been almost another month. This is good! Making progress, chug-chug-chugging along. This is like semi-regular posting for me. VICTORY

this is a very true point you bring up....I don't really watch much of anything anymore.
It's fluff...Spencer/Brendon steampunk world with magic undertones. It's something I normally wouldn't be writing. I tend to sway towards the angstier themes but this isn't like that and I'm still loving it(I'm hoping to finish around 10k...but I'm not sure*shrugs*...every time I think I finally have enough written to start wrapping up my brain says..'Nah...Nope')
MY ANSWER IS ALWAYS: POST IT. BECAUSE, YOU CAN ALWAYS ADD ON TO IT LATER AND IT'S ALREADY AWESOME AS IS AND I REFUSE TO LET IT GATHER CYBERDUST ON YOUR DESKTOP.
I HAVE NO THOUGHTS ON SHERLOCK, EXCEPT FOR THE ACTOR'S NAME MAKES ME LOL AND MAKE CONFUSED FACES.
I READ YOUR TITLEE AS A POKEMON REFERENCE, JUST AS A REFLEX. SINCE IT SAID ATTACK. AND I WILL ALWAYS BE 9.
OKAY OKAY OKAY I WILL CLEAN IT UP SOMETIME AND TRY TO FORMULATE SOME SORT OF ENDING AND THEN SEND IT OVER TO YOU. Fair warning, this will absolutely not happen before the weekend. Potentially not even then because I'm so bogged down. aaaaargggh. *tears hair out*
Hahahah, Cumberbatch, right? It's AMAZING. The only thing to do in the face of a surname like that is just...admire.
THIS JOURNAL NEEDS MORE POKEMON, SO THANK YOU FOR THAT.
I KEEP MISHEARING HIS NAME IN MY HEAD. IT CAUSES A LOT OF AMUSEMENT. I'M LIKE: CUCUMBER PATCH? WHAT? WHO IS THIS? WHAT IS HAPPENING?
EVERYTHING ALWAYS NEEDS MORE POKEMON.
I AM SUPPOSED TO BE READING HAMLET NOW, OR TAKING A BATH. I AM DOING NEITHER. WHOOPS. I HAVE WORK TONIGHT. WORK SUCKS AND IS STUPID. STUPID STUPID STUPID WORK.
I UNDERTAND THE BOGGING. IT IS VERY LIKELY YOU WILL SEND IT TO ME AND I WILL GO: I AM WRITING THREE PAPERS AT ONCE. THIS MIGHT TURN INTO A MESS ON DOUBLING AND SHAKESPEARE AND RACISM AND FUCKERY AND TEACHING PHILOSOPHY, AND HOW I THINK EVERYONE IN THE WORLD IS STUPID AND SHOULD GO DIE. OH, THAT WASN'T WHAT I WAS SUPPOSED TO DO TO YOUR STORY? MY BAD. :D?
You should absolutely watch Sherlock! It's sooooo short, so there's minimal time investment for LOTS OF AMAZING FIC. I thought the characterizations of modern!Sherlock and modern!John were inspired and lots of fun. It's not a perfect show (the 2nd episode has some flaws), but I was really glad I watched it even before a fandom cropped up. I've sat through it 3 times now.
Mostly I want to know if this is the sort of series that will make me think-y, sad, or gleeful. Because I could use a lot more gleeful right now, in this dark time right before finals. It's more of a gleeful show. It's a Modern AU for Sherlock Holmes. So there's mostly crime solving and bromance. Wacky hijinks, deductive reasoning, slashy subtext, and lots of texting. It ends on a cliffhanger, but it's not like we don't know they're coming back next season. LOL.

Oh mannnnn, this sounds like EXACTLY the kind of thing I would enjoy. Shamelessly. And probably several times. :D
Yes, oh my god, the fic. There is so much good stuff out there, which is mainly the reason I downloaded the episodes in the first place. Must find time to watch! Schoolwork is overrated anyway.
