I just wanna know if he knew the stingray was pissed and went in with it anyway, in which case he definitely wasnt avoiding the situation. It would definitely be odd if the thing stung him without any sort of provocation, and that would be a very sad thing about his death.

I'm not saying his death isn't sad, but he may have had it coming.
